Are you a Product Manager who spots market opportunities and knows how to turn them into successful products? As a Product Manager within Collective Income, you are jointly responsible for the commercial success and profitability of income products within your customer segment. You ensure that the product is distinctive, market-aligned and future-proof — directly creating value for both customers and the organisation.
You operate at the heart of the organisation and collaborate daily with colleagues from various departments. With your entrepreneurial mindset and sharp analytical skills, you truly make the difference.
What you are going to do In this role, you are the owner of the product throughout the entire product life cycle.
Your key responsibilities:
Translate market developments, competitor movements and customer needs into new products and concrete product improvements
Keep the assigned product up to date throughout the full product life cycle, taking into account changing legislation and market developments
Share responsibility for profitability and steer on correct pricing, tariff structures and effective renewal policies
Ensure up-to-date, consistent and customer-focused product information and manage product output on nn.nl and other portals
Identify commercial opportunities and take the initiative to turn them into successful product initiatives

Who you are You are an independent and entrepreneurial professional with strong analytical capabilities. You feel comfortable in a complex environment and are able to bring together content, data and stakeholder interests.
In addition, you bring:
HBO / WO (Bachelor’s / Master’s) level of working and thinking
Affinity with the Social Security domain
A WFT Income certificate
Basic knowledge of income products and the sectors in which our customers operate
Up-to-date knowledge of trends in absenteeism and WIA inflow
Thorough knowledge of WIA legislation and execution
Strong analytical skills (both qualitative and quantitative)
Self-starting ability and a healthy dose of entrepreneurship
The ability to work effectively in a team and manage stakeholders
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Who you will work with At NN Collective Income, you will work with approximately 350 colleagues across the Expert Centre, Sales and Income Services departments. The Expert Centre is responsible for the “shop window” of income insurances and develops products for absenteeism and long-term disability. Together, we offer these products to employers via insurance advisors for their employees. The Expert Centre consists of around 50 employees, divided across three teams.
Within the Product & Risk team, we focus on Underwriting, Product and Risk Management, with around 20 enthusiastic and driven product managers, underwriters and risk specialists. Together, we ensure an up-to-date and relevant product portfolio in a highly competitive market. We stay on top of market developments and ensure healthy portfolio growth through strong product offerings and acceptance strategies. We work very closely with colleagues from Pricing & Data, Sales, IT and, of course, the Operational departments.
