On 16 and 17 April, more than 250 colleagues came together at B. Amsterdam for the NN Hackathon 2026. For 24 hours, teams collaborated, learned new skills and built smart solutions to real challenges. The energy was high, the ideas were bold, and the results were inspiring.
A theme focused on customer impact
This year’s theme, “120 seconds: the race for customer impact,” challenged teams to rethink how we serve our customers: faster, smarter and more personal.

Meet the winners: CX-3PO
A cross-domain team from Customer & Digital and IT created a powerful solution using Agentic AI. Their concept: A fully conversational onboarding journey to open a savings account in under two minutes, whilst being secure, compliant and scalable. Built using emerging standards like ACP and MCP. Impact: A smoother customer experience, faster onboarding and less complexity for both customers and colleagues.
Building the future together
At NN, we believe innovation happens when people collaborate and challenge each other. The hackathon showed how quickly ideas can turn into impactful solutions when we work together. From improving customer journeys to strengthening security and operations, the results of this year’s hackathon clearly support NN’s Future Ready ambition.
