Manager Group Business Continuity Management

What you are going to do

Overall, the Manager Group BCM will lead the further implementation and maturing of effective business continuity management that minimizes disruptions to NN business operations during a crisis or disaster.

What your main responsibilities are:

• Further mature BCM and CM throughout the NN organization to ensure a coordinated response to any potential threats and disruptions; represent BCM at senior level
• Manage a team of BCM professionals, core team members of the BCM Centre of Expertise
• Collaborate with internal business units and corporate departments to further strengthen local BCM activities and the functional reporting line; provide guidance and support to ensure effective BCM practices.
• Oversee BCM maintenance, including effective Business Impact Analysis, Business Continuity-, Disaster Recovery-, and Crisis Management plans and adherence to DORA
• Ensure proper preparation for crisis events through training and exercises for Group and Business Unit level management boards, crisis management teams and crisis coordinators

Who you are

• At least 7-10 years of professional experience in business continuity, crisis management, risk management, ideally in the financial services sector
• Ability to lead and represent the BCM function at senior level in NN and effectively engage with stakeholders
• You can define a strategic vision, and to translate it into short and long-term implementations plan (program and roadmap) to further develop BCM capabilities
• Formal training and experience in BCM, CM and program management; certifications like Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP) and the Crisis Management Certified Specialist (CMCS) are preferred
• Knowledge of industry best practices and regulatory requirements related to business continuity management

Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English (Company language) and Dutch are expected.

Who you will work with

As Manager Group BCM you will collaborate with a small, enthusiastic  team of BCM specialists and with other functional areas at Group level, including IT and Finance, as well as with NN Business Units in countries in which we operate; both on senior and on execution level.
