For our team, we are looking for a medior full-stack engineer. Someone who can not only build good products but also gets energy from coaching teammates and being able to constructively discuss software architecture and development challenges. What you are going to do

We build and maintain the application SECA in which all application teams in NN-Group cover their security and compliance requirements. We do this for around 3000 applications with more than 6000 active users, both in our Dutch and international business units. This makes us a crucial part in making all IT within NN-Group safer, and gets us in touch with the entire company. There is continuous demand for developing new features and we are currently implementing a new and improved version of our application. This means you will be working on:

  • Contributing to the redesign of our application, improving usability and efficiency
  • Supporting the backend migration, ensuring performance and security enhancements
  • Developing new features that meet evolving security and compliance needs
  • Collaborating with teams across NN-Group, making IT safer and more streamlined

  • Salary between €4.092 - €5.846 depending on your experience, based on a 36-hour work week (€4.547 - €6.496 based on 40-hour)

Who you are

A good engineer and coach who helps the engineers around you to develop further, with:

  • At least 5 years of experience building REST Web APIs
  • You check at least 2 of the following requirements:
    • At least 5 years of experience with Typescript, Angular, Node.js, Nest.js, Jest, among others
    • At least 5 years of experience in working with MySQL databases
    • At least 2 years of experience with AWS, Azure and with Azure DevOps, including writing and maintaining YAML pipelines, git repositories (branch/merge strategies), and maintaining self-hosted agents
  • At least 2 years of experience with building web components
  • Experience in writing (test) scenarios (gherkin) to support user stories/bugs
  • Experience with Linux, Rust, no SQL databases and a sense of design (UX) is a big plus
