Are you an experienced developer with a strong background in Enterprise Data Management platforms? Do you have experience with S&P-EDM (IHS Markit/Cadis), Asset Control (Alveo), or Golden Source? Wat ga je doen?

As an Enterprise Data Management Senior Developer, you will be part of Data Services team at NN Group. As part of a DevOps team, you will work on the user stories of Group Finance & Group Risk. These include data that is used for accounting and reporting requirements from the European Central Bank, the Dutch Central Bank, the Netherlands Authority for the Financial Market, auditors and internal auditors.

You will work on the back end of the Enterprise Data Management platform and on the development of various Financial and Market data streams, and in some BAU assignments. This is a challenging environment with many large datasets, complex logic and full of dynamics due to new techniques and changing laws and regulations.

Within this team, you will be supporting the DevOps team in analysing, designing, and creating financial and market data processing streams in S&P-EDM (IHS Markit/Cadis). You will work closely with various stakeholders within the organization to generate valuable insights that support the Enterprise Data Management processes.

You will have to apply your technical, analytical and ETL skills. You will take care of the implementation of data solutions in a consistent, qualitative and maintainable manner in accordance with the frameworks and guidelines. You will be taking ownership of the analysis and the execution of the data solution along with the DevOps, the Product Owner and stakeholders.

In attention you:

Work on the design, development and test of data extract, transformation and loading processes in the NN Group Enterprise Data Management platform which is SP-EDM (IHS Markit/Cadis) and that is hosted on Azure
Work on user stories and creating the data solutions technical specification documents
Analysing source data, understanding relationships, hierarchies, groups, trends etc.
Propose solution’s architecture and selecting the right components. Develop, enhance and refine ETL jobs and Data Models
Use SQL scripting to retrieve data from the database for analysis, development, evaluations and testing processes
Use Azure as the cloud platform to store files, transfer data and to access to the platform infrastructure
Support the DevOps team and the Product Owner with stakeholders' requirements, and compliance requests
Work on some team BAU activities and support the Product Owner with the planning and prioritization

Furthermore, you have:

At least 6 years of experience
An academic / HBO education and work level
Excellent communication in English (and Dutch is a plus)
Hands on experience with at least one of the Enterprise Data Management tools like S&P-EDM (IHS Markit/Cadis), Asset control (Alveo), or Golden Source
Knowledge of and experience with the Software Development tools
Knowledge of and experience with data management languages (SQL, DAX, MDX)
Experience with Azure components and services like ADF or Databricks is a plus (We love Microsoft Azure, and we very much love people who are willing to learn Azure)
Experience supporting IT or business operations within a finance, risk and/or asset management environment
