NN is a fully digital organisation. In this complex, state-of-the-art IT environment, where everything-as-code is the standard, you, as an Information Security Officer, play a key role. You are not a compliance checker, but a strategic partner for our development teams. Together, we ensure a secure application landscape where smart choices and manageable risks are central.

Cybersecurity is not a side issue for us, but a business enabler. You make the difference by integrating security into the core of our digital solutions for brands such as OHRA and NN Verzekeringen. Contribute ideas, help build, and join us in elevating the IT security of Retail, Non-life and Health to the highest level.

What you are going to do

Our systems and data must be as secure as possible for all our stakeholders. These may include customers, but also employees, partners or regulators with whom we collaborate. As an expert, you support making security transparent and translating abstract security requirements into concrete solutions. Awareness, authorisation management, DRP plans, SIEM implementations, vulnerability testing, and discussions with project managers, developers, suppliers, risk management, audit and regulators — you are ready to take the lead.

  • You shape information security solutions and support the teams in their implementation
  • You ensure that security becomes part of your colleagues’ DNA. We make sure everyone feels responsible for security
  • You support and inform the teams, management, risk, audit and regulators to take the right risks
  • You actively seek opportunities for improvement in the area of security

What we offer you
Our people are the driving force behind our organisation. We value the knowledge and expertise you bring. We believe that your temporary commitment can take our organisation to a higher level. We offer you:

  • Competitive hourly rate depending on your knowledge and experience
  • An assignment until 30-06-2026 (40 hours per week)
  • Hybrid way of working, partly from home and partly from the office in Arnhem
  • International working environment with loads of knowledge sharing

Who you are

  • Higher professional (HBO) or university (WO) degree
  • At least 3 years of relevant work experience
  • Demonstrable experience in Security, both technical and policy-related
  • High level of independence and result-oriented approach
  • Excellent command of the Dutch language

Who you will work with

You will be part of the IT4IT Security & Compliance team, where, together with another Security Officer, you will ensure a secure IT landscape for Retail, Non-life and Health. You will work closely with compliance colleagues within the same team. In addition, you will have frequent interaction with our infrastructure and application teams to ensure their applications meet the required standards. You will have direct lines of communication with both the Business Security Officer and Risk Management. You actively seek out contacts and share knowledge with colleagues elsewhere in the organisation.

At NN, we work in a hybrid way — partly from home and partly in the office. Teams meet digitally, in person, or in a hybrid format. Together with your team, you decide what works best. Our offices are designed to offer a suitable space for every type of work. The official location for this role is Arnhem.
