The Enterprise Communication Platforms department is looking for a professional who is energetic and enthusiastic about Enterprise Content Management. The ideal candidate is pragmatic, energetic, has excellent technical and communication skills, and an eye for detail.

Together with our customers, we work on a state-of-the-art application landscape that provides our customers with the best, up-to-date experience. We expect you to take ownership of the IT environment. As an Ops engineer, part of your job is to streamline the internal workings of the applications and our business processes. In addition, you and the rest of the team are responsible for the daily operation of the systems.

What you are going to do

Our Scan and Archive systems are the basis of many processes throughout our company. The team has the honorable task of getting the most out of these systems together, and in close collaboration with the business teams. As an Ops engineer within Scanning & Archiving, you will be involved in:

  • planning, managing and coordinating all activities related to the design, development and testing of our IT
  • applications and systems
  • incident management, change management (basic knowledge of ITIL-processes)
  • supporting the daily use of these IT applications and systems
  • operational security (control tracking, NPA verification, IST-SOLL comparison)
  • monitor duty during business hours
  • working with NN teams to plan and execute change requests
  • improving and executing the internal team processes, which brings the rest of the team to a higher level, as well as the quality of the rollout of changes
  • testing of changes and releases
  • execution of the daily run and the execution of test processes, for example when implementing changes by suppliers
  • running stand-by shifts (incl. outside office hours)

We are looking for a Dutch speaking motivated, solution-oriented professional with a practical approach. You possess an analytical, creative, and innovative way of thinking, with which you can convert complex situations into clear information and actions. You are eager to practice Continuous Improvement. Furthermore, you:

Must haves

  • Have knowledge about Electronic Archives, Enterprise Content Management and/or Enterprise Information Management
  • Have experience with the ITIL
  • Have experience with test processes (incl. test automation)
  • You find working with data and performing analyses and manipulations on data with, for example, SQL a nice challenge
  • You have demonstrable experience in working in an IT environment, including (but not limited to):
    • SQL skills, writing queries independently
    • experience with a scripting language (i.e. powershell/bash)

Nice to have

  • Preferably, you already have experience in the NN communication domain
  • Preferably you already have knowledge about Digital Mailroom environments and maybe even Customer Experience Management Knowledge
  • Knowledge of Kubernetes, preferably in AWS environments
  • You are familiar with AWS
  • You have experience in complex 24/7 environment
  • You have a B2+ English language level

Who you will work with

This assignment will take place in the the Scan & Archive team, a team of highly motivated people responsible for NN's electronic archive and scanning environment of NN in The Netherlands. This team is a balanced mix of ten professionals ranging from junior to senior, working daily in technical as well as functional operations, providing scan and archive service to our business. When in the office we like to have lunch together and occasionally have drinks after office hours.
