Nadjia, Actuary at NN, talks about her remarkable journey from Afghanistan to the Netherlands, which she made at the age of 8. She ended up in the Netherlands and from that moment on decided to take advantage of every opportunity she got. She learned the language very quickly and, after completing her pre-university education, was able to start studying Econometrics in Rotterdam.
At NN, she feels at home and supported in her growth. She was involved from the start in setting up NN Actuaries, an internal team with which she and her colleagues throughout the company support various teams with mathematical topics. And shares the importance of authenticity in business.
